How I reward my busy girlboss lifestyle with Arvest - Lace and Sparkles

This post was sponsored by Arvest, but all opinions are my own.

Good morning, lovelies!

Is it for real that May is right around the corner? Maybe it’s just me and my endless to-do list, but I just feel like time goes by faster and faster each year! Between being a wifey, dog mom, blogger, and entrepreneur, life can get stressful more often that I’d like to admit. I’m basically always on the go, balancing my planner and smartphone in one hand and an almond milk latte in the other. #girlbosslife

Long gone are the days when I only had to worry about final exams or decide where to go for spring break with my friends. HA! Little did I know, a few years later I would be creating a business plan, filing taxes, and trying to stick to a budget, all while trying to strike a balance between enjoying my life and reaching my financial and business goals!

One of the most important decisions I’ve made since I began “adulting” was choosing a bank and whether or not I would use a credit card. I’ve got to be honest with you guys, I was a bit overwhelmed at the thought of having a credit card because of all the interest rates and annual fees. Seriously, how terrifying! Luckily for me, I found a perfect bank early on that met all my needs while helping me grow a successful online business.

Enter Arvest Bank. I’ve been banking with Arvest for a while now, and they’ve helped me see that managing my finances isn’t so scary after all (whew!). They even offer a nifty rewards program for current and new Arvest credit card holders. It’s the perfect solution to simplify the daunting task of managing my accounts. And let me tell you, this was huuuuge in seamlessly improving my day-to-day business tasks and helping me stay on track with my budget.

Arvest Bank offers credit cards based on your needs that all offer unique benefits such as Arvest Flex Rewards™, no annual fees, competitive interest rates, and excellent customer service. Heck yes!

Even when I can pay for things in cash, I prefer to put most of my expenses on my credit card and pay off the balance at the end of the month. If I’m going to spend that money anyway, why not actually get some benefits from it, right? And for us ladies killing it as entrepreneurs, we need all the benefits we can get! Now, you guys know how much I love traveling AND treating myself to a chic dinner at up and coming restaurants, so of course these are some of the things that I like to redeem my reward points for.

You’ll earn Arvest Flex Rewards™ with each purchase. Simply use your Arvest Bank credit card for your everyday purchases, then log in to your Arvest Flex Rewards™ account to manage and redeem your reward points. Cha-ching! Everything from flights, hotels, restaurants, and gift cards, to cashback and statement credits can be found there. Arvest Bank understands convenience and simplicity, which is why I’ve stuck with them for so long.

Even though I’ve been lucky enough to roam around the world and travel to more places than I can count (that wanderlust is real, y’all!), there are still so many other beautiful countries and cities I want to explore. Arvest Flex Rewards™ can help; with a simple login to their website, book a flight with essentially any airline (no blackout dates here), snag a hotel room, and even rent a car. All in one place! Oh, and did I mention that you can combine reward points with your credit card for payment as well? SO. USEFUL.

Another cool option of Arvest Bank’s credit card traveling perks is that you can redeem your reward points for experiences! My husband is already eyeballing the NASCAR Driving and World Cup Soccer Experience. I wouldn’t mind a trip to Russia this summer, would you?

Go ahead and get ready to prowl the town for your favorite foodie spots. From pasta, wings, and coffee, to desserts and some fancy steak, there’s no shortage of dinner ideas for our weekend dates! Turn your Arvest Flex Rewards™ into dining gift cards and give your kitchen a well-deserved break!

I love mixing trendy pieces like a faux fur coat with some classics, like a timeless white button-up while also snagging the best deals in skincare products and makeup. With the Arvest Flex Rewards™, you can even redeem reward points into well-known retailer gift cards. From the latest fashion, to home décor, grocery and gadgets, (even fishing gear for my husband and tasty treats for my pups) there is something for everyone! The only difficult decision here would be choosing either black or nude pumps?!

As with any other credit card, “rewards” are only rewards if you are financially responsible and avoid interest charges and late fees by paying your bill on time. Otherwise, you’re only spending money you don’t actually have #beentheredonethat. Go and snag a Arvest Bank credit card for yourself and redeem your Arvest Flex Rewards™ points for the rewards that matter most to you!

Stop by your local Arvest branch in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, or Missouri to learn more about Arvest credit cards and the amazing rewards bonus you can receive!

  19. May 3, 2018 / 1:26 pm

We don’t have one here, either. I use Wells Fargo because despite any bad media recently I’ve always had an incredible experience with them. My business account, personal, savings and all credit cards are linked making it super easy to transfer money and keep track of everything. I do have their rewards card, and I’m saving it up to use as miles rewards.

  20. May 3, 2018 / 1:26 pm

Sounds like there are lots of perks that work perfect for us women bosses 🙂

I’ve never heard of Arvest but I’m glad they are supporting all of your needs. Get it Girl Boss!

  26. May 3, 2018 / 9:54 pm

Sounds great! I have always wanted to get a cc with points but afraid I wouldn’t be able to pay it back. Being self employed every month differs and I would worry that I might pay an electric bill or something and then short money that month so the card doesn’t get paid. Where as now if my utilities are going to be cut off I have to pay it. Something I want to look into as my finances are more stable. Sounds Great!

Woot, glad you found something that works for you!! Sounds like a great banking relationship 🙂

  30. May 4, 2018 / 1:28 pm

This sounds like a great bank, and they seem to have great rewards! I know it all adds up. My bank started doing rewards not too long ago, and we already earned $100 towards a Marriot stay and a couple of dining cards. They are really handy, especially when you get them for just using your debit card like normal!

  31. May 4, 2018 / 2:20 pm

If I lived in the area where an Arvest Bank was located I would become a customer based on your review. Great photos, too!

  32. May 4, 2018 / 2:50 pm

Shopping is always on my reward list!! I have never heard of this bank though, not sure there is one near me.

  41. May 10, 2018 / 11:43 am

Good customer service is one of the most important things to me when choosing a bank, along with flexibility and reliability. As long as you budget/learn how to manage your finances properly a credit card can be a great tool.
