Happy Wednesday, lovelies! Today has been pouring rain, like two months worth of rain in only a few hours kind of day. Just when you think summer might be finally here, Mother Nature says “nope, not yet”!

Anyway, since I cannot just curl up and watch “Princess Switch” on Netflix, I’ll go ahead and tackle my endless to-do list instead. But firs, I want to share with you all about our visit to this lovely café right at the heart of Sydney Harbour.

THE LOCATION

The Galley at Sydney Boathouse is located between Rozelle and Glebe, in 2 Waterways Court, Rozelle NSW 2039 and is open 7 days a week from 7-7:30 am. Perfect for those early bird coffee lovers!

From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by an amazing view of the Anzac Bridge, Sydney Tower and all the cool yachts in Sydney Harbour Marina. Then, you see the beautiful patio and all the fresh greenery and nautical décor that perfectly complements the space.

Also, did I mention that you get one hour of parking for FREE?! ??

THE FOOD

Other than the wonderful views and the lovely décor, let’s talk about the real reason why you are probably reading this post… THE FOOD!

The Galley celebrates community and food and this can clearly be noted by the great variety of dishes to please everyone’s taste (vegans included).

We decided to order the scrumptious french toast, a hearty omelette and some yummy granola with fresh fruit because, balance. Am I right?!

Everything was delicious and the dishes are big enough to share (or not) and pair with a flat white or a juice of the day. Even our pups wanted to steal a bite!

Next time we’ll probably come later so we can also try their lunch menu… that Prawn Liguini is calling my name!

We have two dogs and are always on the hunt for new pet-friendly spots. The Galley at Sydney Boathouse did not disappoint! It has those chill, beachy vibes we are all craving when the weather starts to warm up, friendly staff, enviable location and of course, mouthwatering food.
