Happy new week, lovelies! Who else had crazy weather this weekend? We had sleet and below 30's temperatures last Saturday and then it warmed up a little bit on Sunday I got all excited because we could finally go out to take some photos. Little did I know, as soon as we arrived, it started pouring rain. BUT, we were already there so we decided to do it anyway.
I've been loving this embroidery trend for a while now and lucky for me, it's still going strong! This lovely dress is so comfy and perfect for a casual Sunday. Plus, I love that it's long enough to wear it with sandals or heels. Curvy girls like me, I know you understand the struggle haha!
Plus, who doesn't love having their closets full of versatile pieces?
I'm all about the details and accessories to take an outfit to the next level! In this case, the criss-cross detail on the front is enough so I didn't have to wear any necklaces but I did add a lovely summery clutch, which was actually a gift from my MIL) and one of my favorite pair of sandals (I even have them in two different colors!).
We were about to go home but of course my sweet tooth was calling and I told the hubby I wanted an ice-cream, because well it's always a good time for coffee AND ice-cream! We walked a few blocks and went to Spark Café Soda Fountain, just next to Walmart's museum (I swear it's a thing you guys! With Sam Walton's old truck and everything!). Entering this place is like going back in time, like an old time soda shop where you can get everything from hot chocolate, yummy ice-cream, old fashioned candy, sundaes and banana split!
