ROCKIN’ AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE (+ GIVEAWAY!)

Hello, there!! I hope you guys had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and that you got to eat all the turkey, mashed potatoes and apple pie you could ? I sure did!

Even though I was kind of bummed that I have to spend the whole holiday season away from my family (first time for me), I was happy to share it with my little family of four. The hubby cooked an amazing Christmas dinner, we played with the pups and even gave them some Turducken from Three Dog Bakery!  

In Mexico, we celebrate Christmas during Christmas Eve or what we call “Nochebuena” so we actually had dinner the 24th and I FaceTime’d my family so I could celebrate with them too, even if I was so far away from them. Then, we opened our gifts and looks like our dogs liked their stocking stuffers even better than their christmas presents haha I guess chewing bones always win! 

I paired this simple black skirt with a felted braided sweater from Stradivarius, a brand that I believe it’s not sold in the US but you can usually get most of their stuff at ASOS. I got mine last time I was in Mexico but there’s also this very similar option for under $30! However, my favorite part was definitely the accessories I added to this look, included this beautiful saddle bag that is a great Chloé Drew look-alike and that layered necklace I received in my last Rocksbox. 

And of course, no outfit is complete without a great pair of shoes! In this case, I chose some lovely burgundy DSW booties that are so comfy and perfect for a feminine and casual fall-winter outfit.
