Hi there, gorgeous! Guess what? It’s finally summer, time for pool parties and BBQs! All I want is to get a tan, shimmer and glow ✨
I’ve been eyeing this beautiful highlighter since it was released, so of course I got really excited when I got an e-mail saying that I was selected by Influenster to test it.

PRODUCT DETAILS
Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel is a highlighter in gel-cream textures that gives your skin a beautiful and subtle glow. Perfect for enhancing your tan during summer or giving you a hint of glow during the winter months. It’s made with five different forms of coconut (coconut alkanes, milk, water, polysaccharides, fragrance) and provitamin B5, so it actually hydrates your skin, instead of drying it out, like other highlighters do. Plus, it actually has a light coconut scent so you can get all the beach vibes without the sticky bronzer feeling!
You can buy it for $44 at Sephora.
SWATCHES
This Marc Jacobs Highlighter comes in shade 50 – “Dew You?”, and let me tell you, it’s basically liquid gold! I thought it would look funny on my fair skin but I was pleasantly surprised.
FINAL THOUGHTS
This Marc Jacobs Dew Drops definitely goes to my TOP 3 fave highlighters. I like mixing it up with my tinted moisturizer for a light shimmer and then top my makeup with a little bit more on the top of my cheeks and my eyebrow bone for that extra-glow. Quick warning, because of its gel-cream consistency, it dries pretty quickly, so you need to make sure to blend it immediately after applying it. I like to use my beauty blender or this inexpensive version by Real Techniques and then set everything up with my Mist & Fix. Even though this product is on the higher price spectrum, I love that you don’t need to use a lot of it. A couple of pumps go a long way! If you love that goddess glow, beachy kinda feel, this is the right product for you!
Have you tried this highlighter or any other Marc Jacobs beauty products? Let me know in the comments. I’m always looking to try new finds!

I’ve got fair skin, too, and I have a hard time finding products that look right with my skin tone. I may have to try this one.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I never used highlighter until this year! I have a powder-based one by Becca, but this one looks nice and light! Thanks for sharing.
I have fair skin and have a hard time finding foundation products that are light enough. I will have to look into Mark Jacobs.
I love tinted moisturizers! I’ve never tried this kind before, but I’ll have to try it!
I love having that beach glow, but never seem to get it right. Thanks for the recommendation – I need to look for this!
I’ve never used a highlighter but am now going to give it a go. This product looks like something I might like and sounds light enough.
Love the pics. I have olive/darker skin… not sure it would work for me…? You do have me intrigued tho!
I would love to see a tutorial on how to apply a highlighter like this. I’ve been eyeing them, but am so illiterate when it comes to makeup. Thank you for he review, though. When I am ready to buy I will know which product to buy!
I’ve never tried this! I’m up for anything that smells like coconut and makes me feel like I’m on the beach 🙂
I may have to try this! I haven’t really used a highlighter, but this looks interesting. I’ve been using a bronzer on my cheek bones that I like. I wonder how it would look if I combined them! I may have to experiment!
I love that it has a coconut scent. Perfect for summer 🙂
Right? Coconut is my fave!
I will definitely give this product a try in the winter when my completion starts to get a little pasty.
I’ve never used a highlighter before. I like the idea of it actually being good for the skin. Must try this one.
You should definitely ask for a sample from Sephora 🙂
I have never tried a highlighter and I have fair skin too. Nice review. I will check this one out!
I would love to see this as a video as part of your makeup routine!
I’m not to much into make up but my daughter is and she loved This!
I’ve been trying to wear more than just mascara and powder. It’s hard here in Texas where it is 104 for weeks on end. I would love to try something like this when it cools down again and I don’t melt.
This looks awesome! I love that it has the scent to it – and the bottle is super cute too!
I don’t wear makeup but you make me want to go out and buy it.
I love coconut! I’ll definitely have to look into this one!
I love the beautiful glow it gives in the swatch you showed. I too am extremely fair skinned, and less is definitely better than more on my pale skin. This looks like something I might actually be able to wear. I would be interested to see how to apply something like this.
Well, I’m in love!
I’m so glad you like it!
I like that it is coconut scented.
When you mix with foundation, are you using over your whole face for a light shimmer all over?
Yes, just one or two pumps are enough. And then, apply a little bit more where you want that extra shimmer and blend it with a makeup sponge 🙂
I’ll have to try it! Seems like it would work on my skin
You should definitely get a sample at Sephora!
Looks like a fun product! Not sure I’d know how or when to use it, but it’s pretty!
I love highlighters! I’m going to try this one out – you really can’t go wrong with Marc Jacobs.
Beautiful pictures!
So true! I love their products and you can always ask for a sample at Sephora to make sure if it’s right fit 🙂
Can I just say I LOVE your blog! This product looks amazing! I prefer tinted moisturizer over foundation any day so I will have to give they a try 🙂
You’re the sweetest, Amanda! Thank you ? I love a good tinted moisturizer in a day to day basis and foundation for when I really want to do my makeup!
