Happy Monday, lovelies! How’s your winter season going? I swore warmer weather was finally coming my way a couple weeks ago but unfortunately, I’m still wearing four layers of clothes and sipping hot cocoa almost every day (don’t judge!).

Now, I know I’ve previously talked about my best winter skincare tips, and because I’m approaching that “third floor” (turning 30, as I like to call it!), I’ve been taking even better care of my skin. Seriously, the other day I saw a recent photo of myself and all I could think was, “Hold the phone…those tiny fine lines were not there last week, I SWEAR!”

I know we’re always our own worst critics, but I can’t be the only one who wants to age as gracefully as possible, right? That’s why when I discovered AVYA Skincare and their promise to make my skin rose-petal soft and the healthiest it’s ever been, I knew I had to give it a try. At first, the marketer in me was charmed by their branding and beautiful white packaging with rose gold trim (just take my money!), but when they sent me samples of their most popular products, I was hooked!

AVYA, which means “first rays of the sun” in Sanskrit, is a luxury skincare line created to indulge all skin tones of the global woman, and was inspired by the generations of women who harnessed the power of ancient ingredients in their daily lives for glowing, resilient, and luminous skin.

POWER COUPLE? MORE LIKE POWER DUET

Let me just start by saying that it’s pretty challenging for me to find a worthwhile skincare product that delivers great results AND smells heavenly. The power duet I tried is AVYA’s Anti-Aging Power Serum and Eye Cream:

  • ANTI-AGING POWER SERUM (WITH VITAMIN C): Formulated with peony, turmeric, neem extracts, and pure encapsulated Vitamin C, this mighty serum protects your beautiful skin while also boosting radiance and restoring even complexion. In other words, it will make your skin look brighter and younger!

As with any other retinoid – one the most powerful agents for skin cell turnover – my sensitive skin did dry out a little bit for the first few days (nothing that a little moisturizer didn’t fix). After that, it was all smooth and glowy!

  • EYE BRIGHT CREAM (WITH CAFFEINE): This splendid eye cream perfectly blends that same magic combination of peony, turmeric and neem extracts, but adds potent topical caffeine and Cassava Matrix Technology to instantly reduce and eliminate fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles. Ladies, this eye cream took me from looking the part of Tired, Overwhelmed Entrepreneur to Bright-Eyed Girlboss ready to crush goals and tackle her day!

While I still need to use concealer and foundation when I’m wanting to rock a full-makeup look, my makeup application goes on so much smoother and my fine lines don’t show up after a few hours like they did before. And no more pesky buildup under my eyes! I was using a heavier eye cream before (without much luck) but AVYA’s Eye Bright Cream feels way lighter and is definitely helping reduce my dark circles. #win

Also, if there weren’t already dozens of reasons to love this skincare line, I really love and appreciate that AVYA’s products will last you for a ton of uses compared to typical skincare products! A little bit goes a long way, so I know I’m getting a great bang for my buck with a quality product. I’m really excited to see my results after a couple more weeks of use!

Also, can we just talk about their gorgeous packaging for a minute? I don’t know about you guys, but there’s something about having my vanity full of beautifully-bottled products that just motivates me to stick to my routine even more. Whatever helps, right?

DRUMROLL PLEASE….RESULTS REVIEW!

As a Latina, I know my skin’s higher levels of melanin make me more susceptible to pigmentation irregularities such as dark spots and skin discoloration. It makes me really happy to see there’s finally a skincare brand that focuses on the challenges of global skin diversity.     I’ve never tried this brand but I love anything that brightens and hydrates my skin– it can get so dry and dull looking. Will definitely have to keep an eye out for these!

    Your post made me want to look into these products. I find that if I stray from my tried and true, that I get breakouts – and I’m too old for breakouts! lol

    Sounds like a skin care product I need to try. Now that I’m getting older, I’m starting to notice the dark circles under my eye. Definitely could use a little help in that area.
